Photography

Photography is a hobby of mine.

I'm using a single-lens-reflex (SLR) camera.
My analog (film) SLR camera is a Canon EOS 500 and my preferred all-round film is Fuji Superia ISO 200.
But what camera I use really isn't that important since most modern SLR cameras are equally good (doesn't really matter if it is a Canon, Nikon, Pentax or Olympus). It is like asking a painter what brand of brush he prefer when creating his art.
I also own a digital compact camera, a Canon IXUS 82 IS, and a digital SLR camera, a Canon EOS 1000D. Choosing a Canon EOS as my DSLR camera wasn't a coincidence since it uses the same lenses and accessories as my analog SLR camera. Now I'm almost exclusively using my digital cameras when practicing this hobby.

What I really like about photography is that it enables you to work with something unique and to create something of your own.
Of course you can just do some quick snapshots without thinking much about it. But if you really want to make quality pictures you have to be able to see: you have to be able to see what might become a good picture and how you need to work with your scene, object or model to make full use of the potential.
Serious photography isn't easy to learn and master - it takes a lot of you - but it is very rewarding when you become accomplished at it.
I love to work with these images.
