Sport

I like to watch sports - of course not all kinds of sport, only the few sports I really enjoy to watch. You can read about these sports below.

One of my favourite sports is definitely American football (or just football since the Americans use the term soccer when referring to the European type of football).
That is a great sport. Some people find it boring because of all the breaks. I like it because it is a very tactical sport - and of course the breaks are being used to choose the best tactics trying to beat the opponent by being better at choosing and executing the best possible plays. It is a mind game, almost like a game of chess - the chess of team sports. And those very short plays are very intense. I guess the only ones finding this sport boring are the ones that doesn't understand the complicated rules and the often very complex plays in the extensive playbooks.
Since I want to watch the world's best football players I'm especially interested in NFL (National Football League), the American indoor football league (AFL, Arena Football League) is also great entertainment.

Ice hockey is also one of my favourite sports. This is a high octane sport with lots of action, thrills and speed - they are playing hard and going at it the whole game, with very few (and short) breaks. I guess you could call it the opposite to football.
It is always a pleasure to watch the best hockey players battle it out in the rink. Since I want to see the world's best players I'm especially interested in NHL (National Hockey League).

Basketball is also one of my favourite sports. I'm especially interested in watching the world's best basketball players, that's why I enjoy NBA (National Basketball Association) the most.

Among my other favourites you'll find aussie rules football (especially AFL, Australian Football League) and of course athletics and martial arts (which shouldn't come as a surprise if you have read about my training).
